Dance Arts Centre (DAC) is a nonprofit dance school serving Brevard County, FL with facilities in in Melbourne and Indian Harbour Beach. DAC’s mission is to promote positive change in the lives of youth through creative movement and the arts. Our core purpose is to make dance fun, affordable, and accessible to all – regardless of one’s economic status. Watch this video to see how DAC is impacting our community!
DAC serves the community through a variety of in-studio classes and community outreach programs. Financial hardship scholarships are available to families in need; click here for more information. In-studio classes are offered during the fall and spring term (August-May) for ages 2 through adult in the following styles: Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theater, Acro, Conditioning for Dancers, and Lyrical.
Small class sizes allow our instructors to offer individualized attention. This approach allows our students to focus on technique to reach their maximum potential, while fostering a love of dance. This nurturing and healthy environment creates an atmosphere that encourages creativity, instills responsibility, and promotes the true essence of a quality dance education.
DAC provides a friend referral program to encourage current students to spread the word about their positive experience with DAC. Go to the DAC Happenings page to learn more.
Financial contributions are essential to DAC’s long-term sustainability. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to our general, scholarship, or community project fund. For more information on how you can make a difference email info [at] DanceAC.org.
